Gloria Oliver grew up in Decatur, AL, where later in life, she started to frequent a local health food store called simply, The Nutrition Center. When the original owner passed away in 1989, her children decided to close the business. Gloria couldn't stand the thought of losing her favorite health food store. Considering that her last child at home would soon be leaving for college, she decided to purchase the business and the rest is history! Now, two of her children plus one son-in-law help her run the business!
